SCOUTS BSA TROOP 194

Adventure and Leadership in Surprise

Our Youth-Led Mission

At Troop 194, Scouts do more than participate. They lead.

Our Senior Patrol Leader and Patrol Leaders’ Council plan the troop’s program, lead meetings and outings, and make decisions that shape the year. Patrol Leaders guide their patrols, older Scouts mentor younger Scouts, and every Scout is given opportunities to take responsibility and grow through experience.

Adults provide coaching, support, and a safe environment, but we intentionally leave room for Scouts to solve problems, make decisions, learn from mistakes, and discover what leadership really means.

Our mission is simple: give Scouts real responsibility, real adventure, and real opportunities to become confident leaders.

01

Character

Scouts grow by living the Scout Oath and Law in real situations, learning integrity, resilience, accountability, and respect through everyday choices.

02

Leadership

Scouts lead the troop. From patrols to the PLC, youth plan, teach, make decisions, solve problems, and learn by taking real responsibility.

03

Citizenship & Service

Scouts learn to serve something bigger than themselves through community service, conservation, leadership, and active participation in their troop and community.

04

Adventure

Scouting should feel like an adventure. Troop 194 camps, hikes, backpacks, explores, and takes on challenges that build confidence, skills, and lasting memories.
